Pilot Project with SFU

• the rules – an y release of student data needs to first be requested and authorized by the student
• the release of data must be reviewed and approved
• for faculty and staff – access to learning object repository

Using Shibboleth technology to federate access and authorization across institutions

• using SAML, PESC and eduPerson standards – use case is e-transcript exchange
